Senior/Staff Scientist - Consumer Biosolutions at Novozymes in Franklinton, NC
In this role you'll make an impact You will build and leverage a strong external network in the food industry, teach and support customer R&D teams who are using our solutions, develop new insights and new technical tools to support our business, advance technical communications initiatives, and leverage science to grow the Novozymes business in the US and Canada. You'll join forces within our Consumer Biosolutions organization and with strategic customers to address trends, share insights, and work to make them a reality today. To be successful in this role you should have a strong foundation in food science and technology, be comfortable directing and performing solutions-oriented lab experimentation that will fuel the engagement of prospective customers, show confidence in your communications, have strong peer feedback on your collaborative spirit, and be moved to action in solving problems and sharing that knowledge broadly. To succeed you must hold:
Minimum BS degree in Food Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related discipline with at least 8 years of experience with Food Technology -or- MS degree
4 years experience -or- PhD.

Job title will be commensurate with experience (Senior Scientist or Staff Scientist) Interest working towards commercial goals within a science-oriented organization Ability to create experimental designs and perform statistical analyses Experience within the baking industry Extensive experience leading science projects Proven ability to work with partners in the food industry and support their needs.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
